Get in touch with us
Do I need insoles?
In a word, yes. Most of the shoes we wear don't have proper arch support, resulting in misalignment and pain throughout the body. Everyone can benefit from more support.
What size should I buy?
We recommend choosing the same size as the shoe you’re planning to wear with your insoles. If you’re between full sizes, order a size up.
How is Fulton different from other insoles?
Glad you asked! There are a lot of things that make Fulton insoles different, such as the materials, design, and efficacy (to name a few). They’re both comfortable AND supportive - unlike store brand insoles, which are made from squishy gels and foams. Their cork base allows them to customize to your unique arch while providing support, heel stabilization, and shock absorption. And, they’re the most sustainable insole on the planet.
What types of shoes can I wear these in?
Our insoles are intended for shoes with removable insoles (generally sneakers and boots). Just take out the current insoles and replace them with your Fulton insoles. If your shoes are roomy, you can try slipping your Fulton insoles right on top of the existing ones, and see how that feels.
Are the insoles standard or wide?
The Classic Insoles were designed to fit in standard width shoes. Depending on the width of your feet and shoes you are wearing, the insoles may accommodate some wider feet as they mold to your body - however, they were was not specifically designed for wide feet.
Why cork?
So many reasons. Cork is a wonder material:
—It molds to the shape of your foot over time, creating a customized insole
—It’s incredibly shock-absorbent
—It's antimicrobial, so your shoes won't get smelly
—It’s carbon negative, which means using it is actually good for the environment
How do I know these will work for my arch type?
Our cork insoles mold to the shape of your foot over time. After around 10 hours of consistent wear, your Fulton insoles will be customized for your unique arch, providing support that’s just for you.
How often should I wear them?
We suggest wearing them every day, at least at first. This way they’ll have time to mold to your foot and you can feel the full benefits of proper arch support. Some people may experience an initial break-in period with minor discomfort. If that’s the case, you may want to wear the insoles for shorter durations or every other day, until you’re adjusted.
Do I have to cut them?
No! Your Fulton insoles will run true to size, as long as you order according to the size of the shoe you are planning to wear them in and if you’re between sizes, size up!
Where are they manufactured?
Our insoles are handmade in Porto, Portugal.
What’s your return policy?
We offer free returns of used or unused insoles, up to 90 days after you purchase them. We ask that you wait 30 days after receiving your insoles to ensure you have time to break in your Fulton insoles and experience how real arch support makes a difference.
What do I do if they don’t fit in my shoes?
First, check to make sure you’ve removed your current insoles before inserting your Fulton insoles. If they still don’t fit, feel free to reach out to support@walkfulton.com so we can help you sort it out.
How long do they take to break in?
In general, your insoles should be broken in after about 10 hours of walking with them.
Should I move them between shoes?
We suggest keeping them in the same pair of shoes. The cork molds to the shape of your foot based on the way you walk in a specific pair, so constantly moving them between shoes won’t provide the optimal support.
Can I run in the insoles?
Yes! But we recommend that you break them in first by walking on them, to give your body and the insole time to adjust—especially if you’ve never worn supportive insoles before.
What if I feel pain when wearing insoles?
Sometimes, the body takes time to adjust to arch support, especially while you break in your insoles. It’s not unusual to feel a noticeable difference, or slight ache during your first few wears – that’s the arch support at work. However, if your pain is severe or persists, please take the insoles out of your shoes and reach out to us at support@walkfulton.com
How long do they last?
About as long as a pair of shoes, so we recommend replacing your Fulton insoles when you replace your shoes.
Can Fulton insoles be worn without socks?
We recommend wearing socks! Although they can be worn barefoot, Fulton insoles were designed to work best with socks.
Are they custom?
Sort of! The insoles come in a universal design but they mold to the shape of your unique foot after about 10 hours of wear, for customized arch support.
Can I use my FSA/HSA to pay for Fulton insoles?
Yes! Just check out regularly, using the card associated with your FSA/HSA.
Do you ship internationally?
We sure do. You can enter an international address at checkout and get your Fulton insoles delivered to over 200 countries.

There’s no
shame in pain
80% of people pronate, which often leads to pain in the feet, knees, hips, or back. Proper arch support corrects the common misalignment caused by pronation and can even prevent future pain before it starts.

Glossary

SUPINATION
Supination, a.k.a. underpronation, means the foot rolls outward, away from the neutral position. Supinators tend to put more stress on the outer foot.

PRONATION
Pronation is the foot’s inward movement as it rolls to manage impact when you’re walking or running. The degree to which you pronate directly impacts your alignment.

ARCH TYPE
Your arch type is usually categorized as low, medium, or high. Each unique type means different levels of impact absorption and natural pronation.

PLANTAR FASCIITIS
A common condition that happens when the tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot is inflamed, leading to chronic heel pain. It’s often caused by a lack of arch support.

KINETIC CHAIN
This helpful phrase describes the interconnected joints, muscles, and body parts that work together to create movement and how they’re all linked to the spine.
